AC_P06: Intro to Sergers

Take your sewing to the next level with this introductory class on the serger/overlock machine. Learn to create quick, clean, professional finishes on your sewing projects.

This class will focus on the basic operation and threading of the serger, practice making simple stitches, understanding settings, and troubleshooting. If you would like to bring a serger from home, please ensure that it has been serviced and that you bring a copy of the operating manual.

• Prerequisite: Basic sewing skills, domestic machine experience preferred
• Age requirement: 16+ (minors must be accompanied by adult guardian)
• Dress Code: Reading glasses if needed

Instructor: Danielle Priest has been an educator for 14 years, focusing primarily on sewing and costuming for the past 3 years.

Class must have 3 participants sign up to run. If this does not happen those who have paid will be issued a full refund.
